This is an excellent opportunity to join the Plant Management Team, taking responsibility for driving health and safety standards, promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance across the facility. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in influencing behaviours, supporting operational teams and embedding safe working practices throughout the site. The role will involve: Managing and maintaining the site's Health & Safety Management Systems Promoting a positive safety culture and embedding behavioural safety across the facility Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and internal policies Supporting the management of Safe Systems of Work, Permit to Work procedures and CDM regulations Managing health and safety requirements for contractors, particularly during planned outages and periods of high contractor activity Conducting site inspections, risk assessments and internal and external safety audits Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions Reviewing safety performance data, identifying trends and deve...
