Your typical day as a Programme Manager:
Reporting to the Head of IT & Risk within Business Transformation & IT, you'll establish, coordinate and oversee complex, cross-functional business change programmes. You'll initially focus on a significant business transformation programme while supporting Innserve's wider transformation portfolio. Working with business owners, Business Analysts, subject-matter experts, IT teams, suppliers and delivery partners, you'll create the plans, accountability and coordination that enable the right people to deliver-not undertake every element yourself. There are no direct reports initially.
Also within the role:
· Define and plan: Turn priorities and requirements into proposals, clear objectives, scope, outcomes and success measures. Maintain an integrated roadmap with realistic schedules, milestones, critical paths, resources, dependencies and decision points.
· Govern and control: Establish proportionate governance, clear responsibilities, coordinate programme boards and reviews, report progress and manage scope, change, decisions and corrective action against agreed outcomes, milestones and budgets
· Coordinate delivery: Bring business, operational, technical and supplier workstreams together across analysis, process and solution design, option selection, development, configuration, data, testing, implementation and early-life support. Resolve dependencies and resource conflicts, uphold quality standards and keep ownership with the appropriate leads.
· Prepare the business for change: Coordinate training, engagement and communication, address people, process, policy, data and organisational impacts, assess readiness and arrange acceptance, handover and transition into business as usual.
· Anticipate risks: Maintain risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies with clear owners, actions and review dates. Challenge mitigations, identify cross-workstream risks, escalate significant issues with impact assessments and recommendations, and maintain contingency and recovery plans.
- Improve how we deliver: Keep clear documentation and records of requirements, plans, designs, decisions and approvals. Capture lessons and improve standards, templates and programme and project management practices across Innserve.
