Homecare Assistants

Prestige Nursing & Care Blackpool is looking for new Professional Home Care Assistants to join our growing team on a full time, part time or bank basis. The role is supporting individuals within their own homes and care settings. We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users throughout Blackpool, Flyde and Wyre.

We endeavour to keep you working as close to home as possible, but having a driving licence with access to your own car, would be an advantage. Shift patterns are varied between the hours of 7am and 10pm. There are also night shifts available.

We provide all new members with our mandatory training programme, and further client-specific training where necessary.

The Role:

Tasks may include:

• Promoting independence
• Administering medication
• Encouraging diet and fluid intake
• Facilitating access to the community
• Encouraging good personal hygiene, including assisting with personal care as necessary
• Completing documentation to a high standard
