Bakery Lecturer (FE) - Temporary Contract Location: University College Birmingham (UCB) Start Date: 2nd November 2026 Duration: Until at least 16th December 2026 (or until a permanent post holder starts) Total hours - 17.5 teaching hours + 5 admin hours = 22.5 hours per week (Timetable below) Pay Rates: £22.00 per hour (non-teaching qualified industry professionals) Up to £27.00 per hour (qualified lecturers) £14.23 per hour for administration time Are you an experienced baker looking to inspire the next generation of industry professionals? We are seeking a Bakery Lecturer to join a Further Education provision on a temporary basis, delivering practical and theory-based bakery sessions to Level 2 learners. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced FE Lecturer or a skilled bakery professional looking to transition into teaching.
