Kitchen Assistant
Location: Medway
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am-4:30 pm
Hourly Rate: £12.71-£14.50 DOE
Overtime: One additional shift available on Saturday 7th November, 5pm-9pm
Contract: Temporary, approximately one month
Essential qualifications: Level 2 Health & Safety and Level 2 Food Safety certificates

About the Role:

We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Kitchen Assistant to support a new bar and kitchen in Medway as the team prepares to open and gets settled in.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, youthful environment and help get things up and running. The role will involve providing practical kitchen support, helping with basic food preparation and ensuring everything runs smoothly as the team finds its feet.

You don't need to be a qualified chef or have years of kitchen assistant experience. We're looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and support the team with day-to-day kitchen tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with basic food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team with reheating food and other straightforward kitchen tasks.
- Help keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout the day.
