Are you an experienced Surgical First Assistant, Theatre Practitioner or Advanced Scrub Practitioner looking for flexible working opportunities within a high-performing theatre environment? We are looking for a Bank Theatre Practitioner / Surgical First Assistant to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leading Consultants and multidisciplinary teams, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures while delivering exceptional patient care. As a Bank colleague, you'll have the flexibility to work shifts that fit around your commitments while maintaining and developing your advanced clinical skills.
As our Bank Theatre Practitioner / Surgical First Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality surgical services. You'll provide advanced clinical support throughout the perioperative pathway and work directly alongside Consultants as a Surgical First Assistant when required.
You'll contribute to patient assessment, care planning, theatre efficiency, staff development and clinical governance activities while helping to maintain the highest standards of care, safety and patient experience.
This role is offered on a bank (0-hour) contract. There are no guaranteed hours, and shifts will be offered depending on business needs. You can accept or decline shifts based on your availability, making this a flexible option—but it may not be suitable if you are seeking consistent or full-time hours.
