Job summary
- This exciting Rotational Band 7 Occupational Therapist post is a chance to work within our highly specialist teams within Queen's Hospital Hyper-Acute Stroke unit and our Regional Neurosciences Centre.
Main duties of the job
- To contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of the provision of services to clients with a diagnosis of stroke and neurological conditions.
- To provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to patients within your area of speciality, facilitating and maximising patient potential within service boundaries.
- To give highly specialist guidance and advice to other members of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) on matters relating to your specialist area.
- To plan, co-ordinate and evaluate the Occupational Therapy service provided to patients within the acute stroke unit/ Neurosciences, on a day-to-day basis.

Salary
£55,524 to £62,652 a year per annum inclusive

Person Specification
- Proven clinical experience as a Neurological Occupational Therapist
- Proven experience at Band 6 level (or above) or demonstrate significant relevant other experience.
