MEP Lead - Data Centre Project | Blyth, Northumberland

£105,000 - £125,000

We are seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a senior role leading the full MEP package from design through installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all mechanical and electrical works across the project
• Manage and mentor a team of M&E engineers and construction managers
• Coordinate MEP design, procurement, installation and commissioning programmes
• Manage MEP subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, cost and programme are met
• Interface with CSA, design, commissioning and client teams
• Drive health and safety standards and a right-first-time quality culture
• Report progress, risks and mitigations to senior project leadership

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' MEP experience with a main or specialist contractor
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Proven track record leading M&E teams on large, complex projects
• Data centre or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training
