£13.14 per hour

Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 16:00 (some shifts 08:00 - 17:00)

Full-Time | Ongoing Position

Warehouse Picker Wanted - Immediate Start Available

\n

We are recruiting Warehouse Pickers / Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Severn Beach, Bristol.

\n

Our client is a well-established international logistics and shipping company specialising in the storage and distribution of mattresses and bedding products. This is a physically demanding warehouse role involving regular manual handling and lifting.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

As a Warehouse Picker, your duties will include:

\n

\n
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and unloading deliveries
\n
• Checking stock quantities and inspecting products for damage
\n
• Recording and reporting any discrepancies
\n
• Sorting, palletising and storing goods safely and accurately
\n
• Picking customer orders using handheld scanners
\n
• Loading stock for despatch
\n
• Moving goods throughout the warehouse using approved handling methods
\n
• Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks
\n
• Operating warehouse scanners and WMS/PDCU systems in accordance with company procedures
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
\n
• Delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers
\n
• Working effectively as part of the warehouse team
\n
• Following all health & safety policies and warehouse procedures
\n

\n

Requirements

\n

To be considered for this role, you must:

\n

\n
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
\n
• Be able to lift and move mattresses weighing: \n
  \n
  • 30kg to 35kg (single mattresses)
  \n
  • 50kg to 60kg (king-size mattresses)
  \n
\n
• Have good written and spoken English
\n
• Be reliable, hardworking and punctual
\n
• Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
\n
• Have excellent attention to detail
\n
• Own Transport Due to Location
\n

\n

Desirable Experience

\n

Previous experience in any of the following roles would be advantageous:

\n

\n
• Warehouse Operative
\n
• Warehouse Picker
\n
• Order Picker
\n
• Picker Packer
\n
• Goods In Operative
\n
• Logistics Operative
\n
• Distribution Operative
\n
• Loading / Unloading Operative
\n

However, full training will be provided, and candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
