We are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to take the reins of a well-established country pub in the beautiful Fordingbridge area. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional food, drink and customer experiences.

As General Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the business, driving standards, developing your team and ensuring the pub continues to perform at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pub

✔️ Leading, motivating and developing a successful team

✔️ Driving sales, profitability and guest satisfaction

✔️ Managing labour costs, stock control and budgets

✔️ Ensuring exceptional service and high operational standards

✔️ Recruiting, training and retaining top hospitality talent

✔️ Creating a positive and engaging culture within the business

About You

⭐ Proven experience as a General Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready for the next step

⭐ Strong background within high-volume, food-led pubs or restaurants

⭐ Commercially minded with excellent leadership skills

⭐ Passionate about hospitality, food and customer service

⭐ Able to inspire and develop teams to achieve outstanding results

⭐ Organised, proactive and hands-on in your approach

⭐ Due to the location, own transport is essential
