Design Manager - Data Centre Project | Blyth, Northumberland

£95,000 - £110,000

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a key role managing the design delivery process across CSA and MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the design delivery process across CSA and MEP disciplines
• Coordinate design consultants, specialist contractors and internal teams
• Manage design programmes, information release schedules and RFIs
• Lead design coordination and clash-detection reviews, working with BIM
• Ensure designs meet client requirements, buildability, cost and programme
• Manage design change control and technical submittals
• Support site teams in resolving technical and design issues

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' design delivery experience across CSA and MEP
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
• Experience on large-scale, technically complex projects
• Data centre or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of BIM and design coordination processes
• Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
