Reed Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join a busy and well-established hospitality team based in Ballynahinch This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking to progress their career in a fast-paced kitchen environment while developing leadership and supervisory skills. Salary: £25,420 - £32,000 per annum Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to company standards. Supervise and support kitchen staff during service. Ensure food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations are always maintained. Assist with stock control, ordering and inventory management. Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation standards. Help train and develop junior kitchen team members. Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials. Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Junior Sous Chef or similar role. Strong food preparation and cooking skills. Good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a busy kitchen environment. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
