Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Broadstairs, Kent Rate: £14.00 per hour Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (4 Months) Hours: Full-Time About the Role Our Client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance Team on a four-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide additional support during a major ERP transformation project and offers an excellent opportunity to join a busy and professional finance function. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, reconciliation of supplier accounts, and maintaining the integrity of the purchase ledger. Working closely with suppliers and internal departments, you will help ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance team. Key Responsibilities * Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently. * Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments. * Reconcile supplier statements and purchase ledger accounts. * Resolve outstanding queries and aged items promptly. * Maintain supplier records and ensure data remains accurate and up to date. * Process credit notes and employee expenses where required. * Liaise with suppliers regarding payment status and account-related enquiries. * Support goods received and invoice matching processes. ...
