Kitchen Assistant - Wingate Area Location: Wingate Area Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm Duration: Ongoing assignment covering sickness and holiday absence Pay: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to work within a school in the Wingate area. This is an ongoing role providing cover for sickness, annual leave, and other staff absences. This position would suit a reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. Key Duties: Assisting with the preparation of food and drinks Serving meals to pupils and staff Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Cleaning kitchen and dining areas Supporting the catering team with day-to-day kitchen duties Adhering to food hygiene, health & safety, and school policies at all timesRequirements: Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential Must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one Must be willing to complete all relevant training courses, including food hygiene and safeguarding training Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive attitudeWhat We Offer: Monday to Friday work with no weekends School-friendly hours (10:00am - 2:00pm) £12.71 per hour, paid weekly Ongoing work with the pot...
