Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a leading global ICP/EPC contractor delivering major utility-scale solar developments across the West and South Midlands to recruit 2 O and M Solar Technicians to work across multiple operational solar projects. These roles offer a competitive salary of £34,000 to £38,571, plus a 10% pension, private healthcare and life insurance, with a planned start date of November 2026. Responsibilities of the O and M Solar Technician Reporting to the Senior O and M Technician, you will: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across LV and HV electrical systems at operational solar sites. Diagnose and resolve faults across DC/LV systems, circuit protection and associated equipment. Ensure maintenance work complies with Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs), RAMS and site safety procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare RAMS and LV switching schedules. Support and oversee contractors and specialist suppliers where required.
