Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Experienced Plasterers / Decorators to begin work for a well-established social housing maintenance company covering South Manchester and surrounding areas. About the Role: * Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm (Sporadic on call rota) * Pay Rate – £22.00 per hour * Duration – Up to 8 years contract for the right candidate * Location – South Manchester - Altrincham, Wythenshawe, Cheadle, Wilmslow and surrounding areas * Start Date – Early December 2026 Brief Role Description – We are looking for experienced Plasterers / Decorators to carry out reactive maintenance and repair works across occupied and void social housing properties. Duties will include: * Skimming, patch plastering and repairing damaged walls and ceilings. * Preparing surfaces, filling cracks and making good damaged areas. * Applying bonding, backing plaster and finishing coats. * Internal painting and decorating, including walls, ceilings and woodwork. * Applying mist coats, undercoats and gloss finishes. * Making good following plumbing, electrical and general maintenance works. * Completing reactive maintenance jobs across multiple properties. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. * Following all health & safety procedures.
