Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Experienced Carpenters / Joiners to begin work for a well-established social housing maintenance company covering South Manchester and surrounding areas. About the Role: * Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm (Sporadic on call rota) * Pay Rate – £25.00 per hour * Duration – Up to 8 years contract for the right candidate * Location – South Manchester - Altrincham, Wythenshawe, Cheadle, Wilmslow and surrounding areas * Start Date – Early December 2026 Brief Role Description – We are looking for experienced Carpenters / Joiners to carry out reactive maintenance and repair works across occupied and void social housing properties. Duties will include: * Installing and repairing internal and external doors, frames and ironmongery. * Second-fix joinery, including skirting boards, architraves and boxing-in. * Kitchen fitting, including units, worktops and associated joinery. * Repairing and replacing damaged floorboards and timber structures. * Installing and repairing locks, hinges, handles and door closers. * General carpentry repairs across occupied and void properties. * Completing reactive maintenance jobs across multiple properties. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. * Following all health & safety procedures.
