Fire & Life Safety Systems Compliance Engineer – Liverpool & Manchester – £27,000 - £30,000 * Up to £30K per annum (negotiable depending on experience) * Annual compliance inspections * Covering Liverpool, Manchester and the wider North West * Fire safety and life safety systems * Service and maintenance role Fire & Life Safety Systems Compliance Engineer Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire & Life Safety Systems Compliance Engineer to carry out annual inspections and functional checks across a range of residential and communal buildings throughout Liverpool, Manchester and the surrounding areas. The role involves inspecting fire safety systems and associated life safety equipment, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors, automatic opening vents (AOVs) and warden call systems. Fire & Life Safety Systems Compliance Engineer Role & Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out scheduled annual compliance inspections across residential and communal buildings. * Inspecting communal and flat entrance fire doors in accordance with relevant fire safety legislation. * Conducting functional checks on fire alarm systems, detectors and control panels. * Inspecting emergency lighting systems to ensure they are operating correctly. * Carrying out checks on automatic opening vents (AOVs) and associated smoke ventilation systems. * Inspecting a...
