Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an Experienced Flooring Operative to begin work for a well-established social housing maintenance company covering South Manchester and surrounding areas. About the Role: * Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm (Out-of-hours on-call rota) * Pay Rate – £22.00 per hour * Duration – Temp to perm, working on an 8-year contract * Location – South Manchester - Altrincham, Wythenshawe, Cheadle, Wilmslow and the M56 / M60 corridor * Start Date – Early December 2026 Brief Role Description – We are looking for an experienced Flooring Operative to carry out flooring installations, reactive maintenance and repairs across occupied and void social housing properties. Duties will include: * Installing and repairing vinyl, laminate, LVT, Polyflor and Altro flooring. * Fitting safety flooring in kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms. * Preparing floors, levelling surfaces and applying screeds. * Removing and replacing damaged floor coverings. * Welding joints, sealing edges and fitting flooring trims. * Completing flooring repairs across multiple occupied and void properties. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. * Following all health & safety procedures.
