Hours: Monday – Friday on Weekly Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, internationally recognised business operating within the labels and packaging sector.
\n
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Labels Print Finisher to join their production team in Milton Keynes.
\n
This position would suit an experienced machine operator from a print, labels or packaging who enjoys a hands-on role within a busy production environment.
\n

The Role
\n
Working on a rotating double-day shift pattern, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining coating and rewinding machinery, ensuring products are finished to the required quality standards.
\n
Key responsibilities include:
\n
- \n
- Setting up and operating coating and rewinding machinery \n
- Monitoring production runs and adjusting machine settings where required \n
- Inspecting finished rolls, checking dimensions, and identifying defects \n
- Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting \n
- Recording production information and completing quality checks \n
- Loading and unloading materials as required \n
- Working closely with the production team to meet output targets \n
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment \n

About You
\n
We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within the flexible packaging or labels industry, who have worked on slitting, rewinding / coating machinery.
\n
You will ideally have:
\n
- \n
- Previous experience as a slitter/rewinder/coater \n
- Good mechanical understanding and practical problem-solving skills \n
- Strong attention to detail and quality \n
- Confidence carrying out basic machine adjustments and fault finding \n
- A reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach \n
- The flexibility to work rotating early and late shifts \n
