We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Contract Manager

to oversee the delivery of Hard Facilities Management services across a portfolio of six properties throughout the UK. The role will be primarily based in

Slough , with responsibility for a wider portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of the contract, leading a multi-skilled engineering team, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the portfolio operates safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements. looking to take responsibility for a multi-site portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of Hard FM and engineering services across six UK properties.

Lead, manage and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring consistent standards across the portfolio.

Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and statutory compliance activities.

Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building and maintaining strong working relationships.

Ensure contractual KPIs, SLAs and performance targets are consistently achieved.

Oversee health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance with relevant legislation.

Manage subcontractors and specialist service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Take responsibility for contract budgets, financial performance, cost control and commercial reporting.

Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, service improvements and additional works.

Support engineering teams with technical escalations and operational challenges.

Produce regular performance reports and attend client meetings to review contract delivery.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a

Contract Manager, Technical Services Manager, Engineering Manager or Hard Services Manager

within Facilities Management.

Strong background in

Hard FM, M&E, Building Services or Engineering Maintenance .

Proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering technical maintenance services.

Experience overseeing multiple sites or managing a complex facilities management contract.

Good understanding of statutory compliance, PPM schedules and health and safety requirements.

Strong commercial awareness, including budget management, cost control and financial reporting.

Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams effectively.

Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel across the UK portfolio when required.

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary:

Up to £65,000 per annum.

Annual Bonus:

Up to 20%.
