Job description

Ecommerce Manager

Luxury Heritage Brand | London | Temp-to-Perm

Day Rate: £300-£400 per day (Inside IR35)
Permanent Salary: £50,000-£55,000
Start Date: November, or early December at the latest

The Opportunity

Ready to take ownership of ecommerce growth for a globally recognised luxury heritage brand?

I'm partnering with an established consumer brand to find an Ecommerce Manager who can turn online traffic into revenue, elevate the digital customer experience and drive DTC performance across the UK, North America and Europe.

This is a hands-on role with genuine commercial impact, offering the opportunity to manage ecommerce activity across two established consumer brands with international reach.

Important: This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a permanent position. It is not a contract role for someone seeking a short-term assignment. You'll start on a day rate of £300-£400 (Inside IR35), with the intention of transitioning into a permanent position paying £50,000-£55,000.

I'm looking for someone available to start in November or, at the latest, early December.

What You'll Be Doing

Ecommerce Strategy & Growth

  • Own the day-to-day performance of multiple DTC ecommerce websites across the UK, North America and Europe.

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase online revenue, conversion rates and overall commercial performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, onsite experience and website functionality.

  • Work closely with global ecommerce colleagues to shape the website roadmap and deliver continuous improvements.

Website & Campaign Management

  • Manage website content, product merchandising, promotions and campaign execution.

  • Coordinate promotional activity with digital marketing, paid media and creative teams.

  • Ensure ecommerce campaigns align with wider brand objectives and marketing activity.

  • Optimise onsite performance through A/B testing, SEO improvements and customer journey analysis.

Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor and report on sales, conversion rates, average basket value, customer behaviour and other key commercial KPIs.

  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations that drive growth.

  • Identify emerging trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Share insights and best practices across international markets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with brand, marketing, commercial, operations and digital teams.

  • Act as a key ecommerce contact for the UK market, sharing local insights and coordinating activity.

  • Ensure operational processes support a seamless, high-quality customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience managing DTC ecommerce, ideally within retail, consumer goods or a comparable consumer-facing business.

  • A proven ability to drive online sales, improve conversion and deliver against commercial KPIs.

  • Experience managing ecommerce platforms and website content, ideally Shopify.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.

  • Experience collaborating with creative, marketing and commercial stakeholders.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.

  • A commercially minded, proactive approach and a genuine interest in improving the online customer experience.

  • Experience working across international markets would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

  • £300-£400 per day, inside IR35, during the initial assignment.

  • £50,000-£55,000 permanent salary upon conversion.

  • A clear temp-to-perm opportunity with an established luxury heritage brand.

  • International DTC exposure across the UK, North America and Europe.

  • A hands-on position where your ideas can directly influence ecommerce performance.

Interested?

I'm looking to speak with candidates who are actively seeking a permanent move and can start in November or by early December at the latest.

If you're looking for your next long-term opportunity in ecommerce, I'd love to hear from you.
