Beers Plumbing, is a long-established independent Merchant, offering plumbing, heating, bathroom & showering products to both the trade and the general public alike, throughout Merseyside, Warrington, Wirral and the North-West area. About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Branch Manager, based within our Beers Plumbing & Heating depot in Rathbone Road, Wavertree, Liverpool 13. With excellent Plumbing and Heating knowledge, you will have experience in a similar role with a background as a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager / Senior Supervisor. You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products, have good communication skills, success in sales growth, account management & customer development as well as being ambitious, driven & having a customer-focused mindset. We would be looking for an individual to have strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach within a busy trade environment. Responsibilities & Duties * Day to day management of the Store * Account management, meeting targets and generating sales growth * Drive revenue, margin & branch profitability * Sales to Trade & Retail * Manage key customer accounts and grow spend * Stock control * Ensure high operational, compliance and Health & Safety standards * Cash Handling * Managing Stock purchasing, storage & annual stock takes. Required Experience * Experience in Plumbers Merchants / Builders Merchants * Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager / Senior Supervisor * Good Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating, Bathroom Products * Good knowledge of local customers * Excellent Customer service skills * Commercial awareness (sales, margin, costs & performance KPI's) * Self-motivation and positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise * Ambitious, driven & customer focused * Full Driving Licence Hours of work: 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday.
