⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break; 35 hours per week)
💷 Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the HR function within a school in Liverpool.
This role would suit a confident HR professional who can advise senior leaders, manage employee relations matters and ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently.
💼 Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day HR function and supporting senior leaders.
Advising on employee relations, absence management and performance matters.
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment processes.
Managing contracts, staff records and HR systems.
Ensuring HR policies and procedures remain up to date.
Supporting workforce planning and staff development.
Maintaining compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.
👤 What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an HR management or senior HR role.
Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
Experience advising managers on HR matters.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Experience in education would be advantageous.
