Long-Term Opportunity in Hookford & Godalming

Locations: Hookford and Godalming
Rate: £23.09 PAYE per hour
Start Date: 2nd November 2026
Position: Ganger
Requirements: CSCS Gold Card, SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, previous Ganger experience and a full, valid driving licence and Thames water passport

We are currently looking for reliable and experienced Gangers for a long-term work opportunity across sites in Hookford and Godalming.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and motivated candidates with a valid CSCS Gold Card, SSSTS or SMSTS qualification and a full, valid driving licence, who are looking for ongoing work within the construction or civil engineering sector.

Successful candidates will be expected to lead and coordinate site operatives, support day-to-day site activities, follow site instructions and maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the project.

Candidates must be able to drive, as travel between the required sites may be necessary.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Gold Card

• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification

• Thames Water Passport

• Previous experience working as a Ganger on construction or civil engineering sites

• Full, valid UK driving licence

• Ability to drive between sites as required

• Good leadership and team coordination skills

• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures

• Ability to follow site instructions and work safely

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Available to start on 2nd November 2026

Pay & Benefits
