SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER – ON-PREMISES | C# / .NET

  • £512 per day via Umbrella
  • Manchester – fully onsite, 5 days per week, with working hours between 7am and 7pm on a rota
  • BPSS clearance required, plus client-specific vetting
  • Develop, maintain and upgrade custom solutions across SharePoint Server 2019 and Subscription Edition (SE)

Our client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support and enhance a complex enterprise collaboration environment. You'll work on custom on-premises SharePoint solutions, troubleshoot technical issues and help ensure applications remain reliable and compatible as the platform evolves.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on SharePoint Developer with strong C#/.NET development skills to contribute to enterprise integrations, platform upgrades and the modernisation of existing solutions.

THE SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER ROLE

As a SharePoint Developer, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting custom solutions across an on-premises SharePoint Server environment. You'll work across SharePoint Server 2019 and Subscription Edition, resolving complex technical issues, delivering integrations and supporting the testing and remediation of custom applications during upgrades.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, enhancing and maintaining bespoke SharePoint solutions.
  • Supporting SharePoint Server 2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE).
  • Troubleshooting complex application, configuration and development issues.
  • Supporting the remediation, testing and validation of custom solutions during platform upgrades.
  • Developing and maintaining integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Working with SharePoint APIs and REST APIs to connect applications and services.
  • Developing and maintaining code using C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Supporting the stability, performance and ongoing reliability of the SharePoint environment.
  • Collaborating with technical colleagues to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.

SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong hands-on development experience with SharePoint on premises.
  • Experience working with SharePoint Server 2019 and/or SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE).
  • Strong C#/.NET development skills.
  • Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of SharePoint APIs and REST APIs.
  • Experience developing and supporting custom SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including resolving complex application and development issues.
  • Experience supporting testing and remediation of custom solutions during upgrades.
