Buyer

Position: Buyer Salary: £45,000 - £50,000. Location: High Wycombe Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to begin work for a leading manufacturer in High Wycombe. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Buyer to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the business/factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work. You will be responsible for: Manage purchasing activities across a small-to-medium batch manufacturing environment Source and procure materials, components and supplies required for production Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and availability Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times and purchasing terms Support the preparation of purchasing quotations and material cost estimates Liaise with Production and Engineering teams to understand material requirementsExperience: Background in Procurement Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment If you are interested in this position, please apply with a copy of your CV & a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity with you in further detail.
