Pharmacy Dispenser / Trainee Dispenser – Allied Pharmacy, Hannah Street
Allied Pharmacies is a growing group of community pharmacies, built on partnerships with local pharmacists and backed by over 50 years of combined experience in the sector. With a portfolio of more than 150 pharmacies across the UK, we're now looking for a reliable, friendly and customer-focused team player to join us at our Hannah Street branch — either as a qualified Dispenser or as a Trainee Dispenser taking their first step into pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, following all relevant procedures
• Speak with patients and customers in a warm, professional manner
• Promote and sign patients up to our prescription collection service
• Support the wider pharmacy team with the day-to-day running of the branch
• For trainees: complete a 12-month dispensing course to become a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser

What we're looking for

• A positive, pleasant team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Pride in your work and a willingness to learn and progress
• For the Dispenser role: previous pharmacy experience and NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (Dispensing)
• For the Trainee role: no prior experience needed — just enthusiasm and a genuine interest in a pharmacy career
