Area Sales Manager – Plumbers Merchants Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Plumbers Merchants Industry Sector: Plumbing fittings, accessories, valves, waste pipes, guttering, plumbers merchants, builders merchants, distribution Area to be covered: Area Sales Manager – North West Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 Neg. + £5,000-£7,000 Bonus (guarantee first 3 months) Benefits: Hybrid Car + full benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Plumbers Merchants will involve: * Field sales position, selling a distributed range of plumbing fitting, values and accessories * Promoting an extensive portfolio of 3,000+ products * Selling into circa 350+ trading merchant accounts (approx. 180 in total), predominantly independent plumbing and builders merchants, but also buying group members and national merchants * Working in a buddy system with a dedicated internal sales professional * Responsible for £1.2m+ turnover * 70% account management, 30% account development position * Inheriting an area currently performing slightly below budget, due to lack of field sales coverage * 6 calls per day, typically selling into buyers within a trade counter * Utilising an in-house CRM system which is fully accessible for your mobile devices * Working as one of two field sales professionals covering London & South East The ideal applicant will be an Area...
