£32,388 per annum, pro rata

The Business Support and Training Administrator will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting the delivery of training programmes, events, and associated engagement activity. The postholder will provide comprehensive administrative, organisational, and logistical support to ensure the effective planning and departmental administrative activity.

In addition to supporting training and events, the postholder will provide administrative support across the Business Innovation and Development Department, including coordinating enquiries, maintaining records and systems, supporting business development pipeline activity, and providing administrative support to wider departmental operations.

The postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners and employers to support the effective delivery of departmental objectives and ensure a high standard of customer service across all areas of activity.

The successful candidate must be educated to HNC level or equivalent qualification or have equivalent experience. With excellent administrative and organisational skills, experience of coordinating or supporting events, training, projects or departmental activities, you will have the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel throughout South Lanarkshire and the surrounding area.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by South Lanarkshire College.
