rospero Teaching are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Woolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about creating positive outcomes for pupils with additional needs. The successful candidate will become an important part of the school's support team, working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide personalised support. The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties and communication needs. The Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs. Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development. Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence. Adapt classroom activities and resources to support individual learning needs. Build trusting and positive relationships with pupils. Support pupils who may display challenging or distressed behaviour using appropriate strategies. Work closely with teaching staff to follow individual support plans. Help maintain a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.
