Having been successful in delivering various projects recently and being awarded new contracts for the coming 12 months, they have an immediate requirement for a Pre-Construction Manager to join the growing team. Our client is a division within a large contractor, who specialise in Defence contracts over the south of England. They are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager with a general contracting background and varied project portfolio to step into coordinate and largely set up policy and processes. The role will include managing design, contract risk, making sure price is scrutinised and correct, the programme and how they will deliver for the client and also protect the business. Responsibilities for this Pre Construction Manager role Lead the pre-construction process from initial enquiry, tender and bid stage through to contract award and project mobilisation. Review project drawings, specifications, scopes and employer’s requirements, identifying design, programme, procurement, buildability and commercial risks. Develop detailed pre-construction programmes, procurement strategies, tender packages and project execution plans.
