Headteacher

DescriptionSupporting documentsEmployerLocation

At The Vineyard School, there is a wonderful new chance for an outstanding and successful Headteacher to play a key role in the leadership, growth and aspirations of our institution.

Job overview

Help us create the UK’s leading primary school.

What if your next headship was an opportunity to build, not simply inherit?

The Vineyard is a high-performing three-form entry primary school in Richmond, already in the top 1% nationally for KS2 attainment.

We have talented staff, children ready to learn, beautiful grounds, a rich curriculum and an ambitious community.

But we believe there is another level to reach.

Our ambition is to create the UK’s leading primary school, not just through academic excellence, but through an exceptional all-round education. A school where every child is known, challenged and supported, and where sport, music, the arts, wellbeing and a breadth of opportunity are as central to our ambition as outstanding teaching and learning.

We are looking for an exceptional Headteacher who wants to help shape what that means, bringing their own ideas, experience and imagination to the school’s next chapter.

This is not a turnaround role.

Nor is it an invitation to maintain the status quo.

It is a rare opportunity to build on considerable strengths, challenge what can be better and create something genuinely exceptional, with the freedom and support to make the ambition your own.

We would be delighted to welcome you to The Vineyard to meet our children and staff, and explore the opportunity further.
