The OpportunityWe are on the lookout for a Technology Manager to lead and grow our Partner Performance team within the Supply Performance and Experience domain. This dynamic team is dedicated to transforming complex operational data into actionable intelligence, helping our partners streamline their operations and maximize revenue growth.
As a Technology Manager, you will coordinate the design and implementation of innovative solutions crafted by your engineers, focusing on key capabilities:
Intelligent Insights: Develop a multi-channel data layer that serves as the "brain" for partner insights, ensuring the right information reaches partners at the right time.
Operational Optimization: Provide real-time, predictive alerts to help partners manage operations effectively, reducing delays and preventing order errors.
Growth Guidance: Identify immediate and strategic value opportunities to drive incremental revenue for both partners and Just Eat Takeaway.
By leveraging our high-scale streaming architecture, we turn raw data into actionable insights that guide partners toward better decision-making, whether it's saving an order in the moment or identifying long-term expansion opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Technology Manager, you will be accountable for the technical direction, engineering quality, and execution of multiple product development teams. Your role will involve:
Product Definition: Contributing to significant product features through collaboration with engineering teams and Product Managers.
Technical Leadership: Working with your Head of Engineering to define and communicate a technical roadmap for the domain.
Career Development: Guiding engineers in their career aspirations and setting goals for their growth.
Prioritization: Collaborating with stakeholders to align domain priorities with commercial needs and engineering strategy.
Ownership: Managing streams of work from requirements gathering to production support.
Continuous Improvement: Proposing and implementing new processes and practices to enhance domain effectiveness.
Tracking Progress: Monitoring progress towards domain goals and communicating transparently with teams.
Operating: Taking responsibility for deploying and supporting changes to ensure they work effectively in production.
Communication: Sharing progress and ideas with your teams and other senior contributors.
Your Profile & ExperienceYou will have experience that aligns with some of the following:
Leading and developing engineering teams using Event Driven Architecture.
Delivering high-quality software projects and driving best practices.
Working independently and solving complex problems.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (or similar platforms like Azure or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
A desire to coach engineers and foster a high-performance culture.
Experience developing products that drive user action from data.
