Hunter Savage is hiring on behalf of an established international law firm to appoint a Finance Solicitor across its Manchester, Birmingham or Edinburgh offices. This is an opportunity to join a well-regarded Finance team advising on sophisticated lending and structured finance transactions.

The firm offers high-quality work, with exposure to asset-based lending, receivables financing and complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

The Opportunity

This Finance Solicitor position provides a broad practice spanning asset-based lending, receivables financing and wider commercial finance. The successful candidate will support a diverse client base of banks, alternative lenders, debt funds, investors and corporate borrowers, including listed businesses and high-growth companies. Matters range from bilateral facilities to high-value syndicated and multi-jurisdictional financings, offering varied exposure to lenders and borrowers across different sectors.

Practice Focus

The team advises on asset-based lending facilities and receivables financing, alongside acquisition finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, securitisation and debt capital markets. The work includes domestic and cross-border transactions, drafting and negotiating finance documentation, and collaboration with colleagues across practice areas and jurisdictions. The role offers early client contact and scope to develop technical expertise, commercial judgement and client relationships.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have three to seven years' post-qualification experience and relevant experience in finance transactions, particularly asset-based lending or receivables financing. The role will suit a commercially minded lawyer with strong drafting and negotiation skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
