3-Month Contract with a Local Authority

Umbrella Rate: 24.21 per hour umbrella

Summary

• We are seeking a Joiner-Multi Trade professional to deliver an innovative efficient and flexible maintenance service. You will carry out joinery and multi-trade installations upgrades maintenance and repairs for managed properties while ensuring high levels of customer excellence.
  

Responsibilities

• Carry out Joinery/Multi Trade installations upgrades maintenance and repairs in managed properties.
  
• Coordinate the services of other trades and work with colleagues contractors and partners to ensure a seamless service.
  
• Manage stock and supplies efficiently to ensure works are not delayed.
  
• Complete and return documentation within agreed timescales updating manual and computerised records.
  
• Identify efficiencies and gaps in service delivery communicating them to line management.
  
• Ensure all activities are discharged safely in accordance with Health & Safety legislation minimizing risk at all times.
  
• Provide relief cover for colleagues and emergency cover if required for business continuity.
  

Experience

• Extensive demonstrable post-qualification experience in the joinery trade.
  
• Demonstrable recent experience of undertaking multi-trade works (e.g. plumbing plastering tiling painting).
  
• Demonstrable success delivering a variable workload in a customer-focused target-driven service.
  
• Understanding and experience of working to current Health and Safety requirements.
  

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in the joinery trade (e.g. City & Guilds).
  
• Ability to use computerised data recording equipment.
  

Additional Information

• Working hours: 37 hours per week
  
• DBS required.
  
• Driving licence required.
  
• This is an on-site role based in Nottingham
  
• We work on a biweekly payment schedule.
