CHP Engineer

Astute's Renewable Energy Team are proudly partnered with a company to recruit a couple of Field Service Engineers for them. They're a global player with a significant presence in the UK and a growing presence in Ireland, who are looking for people who would be living in the Southeast but open to travelling to the UK as well. The role will suit someone who is technically strong and who would like to learn more about biogas upgrading (if you don't already) and are likely from the CHP or gas engine sector. The Field Service Engineer role comes with a fantastic all round package, including a salary of up to €49,000 plus a van, fuel card, overtime, on-call allowance, accommodation and meals for overnight stays and more. Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Engineer role Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will: Perform planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of sites, as part of a team, nationwide Fault-finding across industrial equipment including valves, pumps, compressors, pneumatic systems and all associated equipment Diagnosing electrical faults involving PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, inverters and control systems where possible Produce the appropriate maintenance documentation and rep...
