Join Our Team as a Volunteer!
Looking to make a real difference in your community?
Bradford Dementia Hub is a partnership between Inspire North, Bradford Council, Khidmat Centres and Bradford Bulls working together to support people living with dementia, as well as their families, friends and carers.
We provide information, advice and a signposting service, helping people access the support they need. We also deliver Community Awareness Sessions and Events to promote living well with dementia and how to increase Brain Health.
As a Community Engagement and Awareness Volunteer, you will support local events, share information within the community, support dementia awareness activities and build links with local organisations and groups across Bradford. You will play an important role in helping us reach more people and strengthen our presence within local communities.
We're looking for friendly, compassionate and confident individuals with good communication and listening skills, a willingness to learn about dementia, and a passion for helping others.
In return, you'll receive full training, ongoing support, valuable experience, free learning opportunities and a chance to be part of a friendly and supportive team.
Join us and help make Bradford a more dementia-aware and inclusive community.
Why Join Us?
We understand that when people feel supported and valued, they can achieve great things – and we want you to be part of that.
We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive, anti-racist environment where everyone can thrive by being their true self. Join us in driving this important agenda forward and help shape a workplace where all voices are valued!
If you’re ready to use your skills to help others succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
