Driver/Warehouse Person

Driver / Warehouse Person Location: Aberdeen Hours: Full Time/ 37.5 hours per week At MacGregor Industrial Supplies, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to our customers across the North of Scotland. We are currently seeking a Driver / Warehouse Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products, goods & parcels safely & efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes. They will also be required to assist with warehouse operations as required. What you’ll be doing: • Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations across the Northeast of Scotland. • Follow route and time schedule. • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle. • Complete logs and reports. • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards. • Ensure any company vehicle allocated is fit for purpose. • Deal with customers’ queries and ensure these are passed to the relevant person for completion. • Pick and pack customer and warehouse orders. • Assist loading company vehicles with orders. • Receive and verify all deliveries. • Stock labelling of incoming goods. • Assist in storing, controlling & security of all stock. • Warehouse housekeeping. • Replenish warehouse stock. • Assist with customer returns. What we’re looking for: • Full UK driving license – preferably clean. • License to drive 7.5 tonne vehicles with CPC (desirable but not essential). • Numeracy and literacy skills to enable completion of paperwork. • Flexibility to work additional hours when required by the company. • Good customer service skills when dealing with customers and colleagues. • Ability to respond positively to new challenges and change. • Ability to work within and contribute to a team. • The ability to work with minimal supervision. • Good attention to detail. • Good communication skills Benefits: • Cycle to work scheme • Employee discount • Health & wellbeing programme • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay • Incremental Annual Leave increasing with length of service. • On-site parking Why Join MacGregor Industrial Supplies?
