Interim Accountant

Your new company
We're working with a founder-owned, design-led consumer products business with a significant e-commerce and wholesale presence in London who are recruiting an Interim Accountant on a starting three-month contract.

Your new role
Reporting to their highly successful Head of Finance, you'll take complete ownership of day-to-day financial operations, strengthen process improvements, and optimise the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across reporting, controls, and more.
Key Responsibilities:

• Managing accounting across AP, AR, GL and Fixed Assets through to trial balance
• Supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Working extensively within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, improving processes, reporting and system utilisation
• Supporting the external audit and preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Managing stock/inventory accounting and reconciliations
• Reconciling e-commerce sales and payments across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and payment gateways
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and reduce manual finance processes

What you'll need to succeed
If you're an experienced finance contractor with strong Business Central knowledge and are available for your next assignment, we want to hear from you.

Essentials:

• Strong, recent Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
• Strong reconciliation and month-end ownership
• Previous exposure to a stock, inventory, retail, wholesale or e-commerce environment (Shopify or Amazon advantageous)
• Confident Excel skills
• A practical, sleeves-rolled-up approach to improving processes and resolving issues
