We are recruiting for an Electrical, Utilities & Site Services Section Manager to join an established manufacturing operation in Mansfield. This is a hands-on engineering role combining electrical maintenance, fault finding and the monitoring of essential site utilities to ensure equipment and services are reliable and ready for production.
Working within the Engineering Department, you will support the safe and efficient running of the site, maintaining electrical systems and providing cover for key utilities including compressors, boilers and water treatment plant.
The Role
- Carry out routine electrical maintenance, fault finding and diagnosis across site equipment and utility systems.
- Monitor and control utilities to ensure production requirements are met.
- Diagnose electrical faults involving PLC control systems and variable speed drives.
- Support the operation and maintenance of compressors, boilers, water treatment plant and fire sprinkler systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and produce basic reports.
- Participate in a monthly call-out rota and provide weekend utility cover when required.
