Warehouse Cleaner

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners for a large distribution site based in North Ferriby, HU14.

Main Duties:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming warehouse floors.
• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, canteens, kitchens, and welfare facilities.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and locker rooms.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures.
• Cleaning touch points, handrails, doors, and high-traffic areas.
• Operating cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers and buffers (training provided where required).
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and stock shortages.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working around warehouse operations while maintaining a safe environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work day, night, or rotating shifts as required.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Amazon site.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed according to schedules and checklists.
• Support site audits and inspections.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in line with COSHH regulations.

We have the following shifts available:

7am-7pm 4 on 4 off Days - £13.30 per hour

7pm-7am 4 on 4 off Nights - £13.90 per hour
