Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Alconbury near Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing supervisory and operational support necessary for the preparation and conduct of studies carried out within Genetic Toxicology
• Direct responsibility for all staff working in the operational/support group/section assigned to.
• Training and support of team members to achieve work deadlines and personal development goals
• Accountability for overall accuracy soundness quality timeliness and completeness of all work performed in the area of responsibility
• Responsibility for scheduling; allocating resources within the operational/support group/section; overall responsibility for training and supervision of all operational/scientific/support staff
• Responsibility for study data raw data integrity and may include equipment metrology and functionality (where applicable)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Biomedical Science Pharmacology Chemistry or Biology

Additional Job Standards:

• Supervisory experience within a laboratory preferably working to regulatory standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
• Experience of staff management including development and training
• Aseptic techniques and cell culture experience desirable
• Excellent organisational and time management skills paired with attention to detail
• Due to the remote location of this site there are no public transport links available
