Senior HR Advisor

3-month contract with a Local Authority

Umbrella Pay Rate: 28.61 per hour umbrella

37 hours per week

Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Senior HR Advisor to join our team on a 3-month contract with a Local Authority. This role involves providing expert HR guidance and support on various employee relations and organizational change issues. You will work within a business partnering model handling complex HR cases assisting managers with organizational changes and TUPE processes and contributing to strategic workforce initiatives.
  

Responsibilities

• Handle a range of complex HR cases including disciplinary actions grievances capability issues sickness absences redundancies and organizational changes.
  
• Offer professional HR advice and guidance to managers ensuring adherence to employment laws policies and best practices.
  
• Assist in planning and executing organizational change projects restructures and TUPE transfers.
  
• Provide coaching training and support to managers on employee relations and people management issues.
  
• Produce and analyze workforce data to identify trends and support workforce planning through management information and reporting.
  

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in providing HR advisory support within a complex organization.
  
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases independently.
  
• Experience in supporting organizational change restructuring and TUPE activities.
  
• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
  
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional experience; CIPD Level 7 qualification is desirable.
  
• Must have a valid driving license.
  

Additional Information:

• Working hours: 37 hours per week.
  
• Hybrid working arrangement: On-site 2-3 days per week.
  
• Contract duration: Until the end of April 2027.
  
• Payment is on a bi-weekly schedule.
  
• Umbrella pay rate: 28.61 per hour.
