Care Assistant

Location: Primrose Lodge Nursing Home, Osborne Gardens, North Shields, Tyne & Wear NE29 9AT
Salary: £12.80 Per Hour
Hours: 33-44/week – Day and Night shifts available with alternate weekends

Requirements

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in Care although this is not essential
• Experience with Advance Dementia preferred
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills

Your Role
As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

You'll be responsible for:

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client's physical or emotional condition

What We're Looking For:
