Neighbourhood Housing Officer

4Recruitment Services are seeking a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to work for a housing association based in Basildon, Essex. Although the role has responsibility for managing the Basildon area, extensive travel across the other local regions is required from time to time to cover others and a vehicle to do this will be essential. The role is resident facing and so onsite daily. Main purpose of the role: To assist centrally based teams by completing customer visits, viewing and sign-up appointments, and identifying and investigating tenancy breaches and reports of anti-social behaviour To ensure neighbourhood estates are clean, safe and well maintained, and improvements are identified, planned and delivered. To investigate breaches of tenancy, support more vulnerable customers and ensure that anti-social behaviour is addressed and prevented by working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers. Deliver a programme of regular estate inspections and prioritising fire safety risk assessment follow up work. Work with local residents groups to develop local community facilities, activities and events as part of a neighbourhood plan and local offers.
