Area Service & Positive Behaviour Support Manager

The role PE Global Care Connect are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and hands-on Area Service & Positive Behaviour Support Manager to lead the safe, effective, and person-centred delivery of a specialist support. This is a full-time permanent role offering a hybrid model based in Cumbria Duties of the role • You will manage a dedicated team supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and behaviours of concern. • Operating within high CQC compliance standards, you will focus on reducing restrictions, implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies, and improving the quality of life and independence of those in your care. • Lead, coach, and nurture a small, consistent team of support workers and coordinators. • Deliver in-house induction training, PBS coaching, staff supervision, and reflective practice debriefings. • Plan and manage the staff rota, maintain appropriate staffing levels, handle short-notice vacancies, and participate in on-call arrangements. • Collate timesheets, manage finances (e.g., client petty cash), and oversee weekly health, safety, and fire checks. • Provide hands-on care alongside your team, supporting clients with daily routines and encouraging maximum independence. • Shift flexibility to cover floor gaps as an operational contingency when required. • Case Management: Manage a caseload of individuals with comple...
