Project Manager - Rail

Project Manager (Rail) Location: Manchester Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience, plus company car or allowance and discretionary bonus NEOS Engineering is working with an established business unit in Manchester and is looking for an experienced Rail Project Manager to run individual rail projects within an existing profit centre. This is a role with real ownership. You’ll be responsible for delivery, budgets and customer satisfaction, and for building a pipeline of work through new and existing clients. The Role Manage individual rail projects, developing and delivering budgets in line with forecasts and expectations. Define project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and resource allocation. Manage projects, processes and procedures to achieve right first time and customer satisfaction. Read, interpret and implement contracts, with support from the management and commercial teams. Seek out and develop new and existing rail opportunities, generating quotations and taking them through to tender. Set clear, measurable goals to build a culture of performance linked to the overall strategy. Manage costs and improve efficiency to increase profit centre performance and profitability.
