Work is secured for years ahead, and they need a Senior Buyer to lead subcontract procurement. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead subcontract procurement from tender to award, then manage the supply chain through delivery Run e-tendering with a total value approach to selection Build a structured, high-performing, segmented supply chain Partner with project teams and make procurement simple for them Mentor and develop junior buyers Drive social value, local SME engagement and Net Zero WHAT YOU'LL BRING NEC4 subcontract experience (essential) Construction procurement experience in a similar role CIPS aiming to get to MCIPS Strong analytical and negotiation skills Full UK driving licence Nice to have: water or utilities, frameworks, SourceDogg, eJAGGAER or Ariba WHAT YOU'LL GET c£65,000 plus car allowance Pension matched up to 10% Private healthcare and dental Funded professional membership (CIPS) 25 days' holiday plus a buy-back option Income protection and life assurance Hybrid working WHY THIS ROLE?
