Pay Rate: up to £20.17p/h inc. hol. pay
Contract: 6 Months Contract with the view of being extended

Working Days/Hours: MOnday to Friday, 6.30am till 3pm

PPM Recruitment is currently recruiting for 10 experienced Head Chefs to join a busy catering operation in Stafford.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs with strong kitchen management skills who can lead a team, maintain high food standards and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard.

\n
• \n

  Lead, supervise and motivate kitchen staff.

\n
• \n

  Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.

\n
• \n

  Manage stock levels, food ordering and portion control.

\n
• \n

  Monitor food costs and minimise waste.

\n
• \n

  Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations.

\n
• \n

  Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.

\n
• \n

  Ensure meals are prepared and served within required timeframes.

\n
• \n

  Support the training and development of kitchen team members.

\n
• \n

  Follow all site procedures and catering standards.

\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• \n

  Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a senior chef position.

\n
• \n

  Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.

\n
• \n

  Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

\n
• \n

  Ability to work effectively in a busy catering environment.

\n
• \n

  Good organisational and communication skills.

\n
• \n

  A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

\n
• \n

  Relevant food hygiene qualifications are desirable.

\n
